Mobile Signs in Thompson
“Mobile Sign” means a sign which is mounted on a trailer, vehicle, stand or similar support structure which is designed in such a manner that the sign can be readily relocated to another location, and which may include copy that can be changed through the use of removable characters or panels.
- Permit required, valid up to one year.
- Mobile business signs shall be permitted in commercial, industrial, parks and recreation, and public and institutional zones
- One (1) mobile sign shall be permitted per user
- a maximum of three (3) mobile signs on the zoning lot,
- mobile signs must be located on the site a minimum distance of 20 m (66 ft), apart
- located minimum distance of 0.3 m (1 ft) from the site line
- A mobile sign shall not be located within 3 m (10 ft) from any exit, entrance,driveway, or corner of property site lines
