Temporary Signs in Lloydminster
“Temporary Sign” means a Sign which is not in a permanently installed or affixed position,
advertising a location, product, event, or activity on a limited time basis
- A valid permit is required for all portable signs
- A minimum of 30m required between portable signs
- 1 portable sign is permitted for sites less than 50m
- 2 portable signs are permitted for sites greater than 50m
- Must be placed a minimum of 1.5m from the property line, 3m from site access & 5m from a corner intersection
- No 3rd party advertising allowed
Non-Profit Sign Rentals Lloydminster
- Signs on City owned property, excluding Roads rights-of-way, may be permitted at the
discretion of the Development Officer only if the Sign Copy is used to advertise
community events or non-profit groups or the property is subject to a license of
occupation granted by the City of Lloydminster.
