Portable Signs in REgina

Portable Signis a sign mounted on a trailer, stand or similar support structure which is designed in such a manner that the sign can be readily relocated to provide advertising at another location, and may include copy that can be changed manually through the use of attachable characters.

  • Requires a valid permit, which are issued in 12-month periods, starting July 1st. Will not be prorated.
  • Portable signs must be set back 0.3m from property lines
  • One sign per every 90m of frontage
    • Distance between signs is a minimum, the average height of the two signs
  • Off-site advertising only permitted in MAC, MAC3, HC, DSC, D and Industrial zones
    • Located a minimum of 45m from other portable signs and 30m from billboards
  • Signs may be illuminated
