Lighted portable road signs are the next generation of the portable sign and Sign Guru is the first company to create a 5×10 foot internally illuminated roadside sign in Canada.   Our goal is simply to help our clients advertise in a cost effective manor and to do so for as many hours in a day as possible.

Our new lighted sign comes in 2 options.  One is our 120v system that allows the sign to be plugged into a 120v circuit and run 24 hours a days, 7 days a week.  In order for this option to work we will need to have power close to the sign so we can limit the amount of cabling needed to power the sign.

The other option is our solar powered system that gives us the next best option when power is not close.  This option allows for the sign to be lighted up to 7 hours a day with current technology. Our smart controller allows to the system to run on a split scenario where the total run time can be shared into 2 run times.  Our most common run time is 5-2 where the sign runs for 5 hours after the sun sets and goes to sleep and then turns on again 2 hours before sunrise and runs until sunup. Our controller also learns each day when the sun rises and sets and then adjusts its run times for each day based on this information.
