Mini billboard rental signs are used by businesses far and wide and from small to large to help grow and promote the products and services they offer.  The face of the sign rental market has changed with the advent of the mini billboard.

Advertising using a roadside sign started out with what is known as a traditional letter sign that had channels that allows letters to slide into and out of the sign.  This type of sign was the standard for almost 20 years until the second generation of the mobile sign came along.

Using magnets on a steel surface was the 2nd generation of the road side and this allowed for more possibilities of design and cartoon characters were added to the signs to create a whole look and feel to the industry.

The 3rd generation of the rental sign was the creation of the mini billboard which truly changed the face of the sign rental industry.  Digitally printed images used at the side of the road was all made possible by a sharp decrease in both large format printers and the materials used to print this type of signage.

The 4th generation of the mini billboard is to take the printed sign and light it up.  An illuminated sign helps the advertiser advertise for longer durations and therefore increase their company’s awareness to passersby.  The great thing about an illuminated sign is that it stands out even more than a regular non-illuminated sign.  Our solar powered mini billboard is the largest of its kind in Canada and we were the first company to internally illuminate a 5×10 foot sign.
